Votion Records (formerly The Common Grounds) is a Boston-based record label committed to discovering and elevating emerging talent. Focused on supporting local DJs and releasing innovative music, the label curates immersive events that showcase the diverse sounds of the city's underground music scene.

Before joining in August 2024, Votion Records (Formerly Common Grounds) lacked a social media strategy, making it challenging to build a house and techno community in Boston. I introduced a strategy that maximized engagement and event attendance by:

• Enhancing branding with updated logos for consistent content.

• Launching a TikTok account to expand audience reach.

• Posting event highlights, holiday roundups, and real-time content.

• Creating content series such as artist spotlights, introducing the founder and team, industry song features, and weekly event announcements.

• Engaging with followers and collaborating with other event groups.

• Leveraging EDM trends with event footage.

• Editing and sharing polished event videos across platforms.

• Establishing a consistent posting schedule to grow followers and engagement.
