THE IMPACT OF TIME
During my two years at TIME (2022–2024), I advanced from Office Coordinator to Executive Marketing Support & Operations Assistant Manager, honing my skills in content strategy and audience engagement. In my last role, I drove a 10% increase in engagement through compelling marketing collateral and data insights. Leading TikTok strategy, I grew followers by 15% in five months, while managing campaign assets, tracking performance, and optimizing financial reporting with Smartsheets.
But beyond the numbers, my true passion was always creativity, music, and community—from attending concerts and raves to helping artists and small businesses grow. I knew it was time to turn that passion into something bigger…
WHY SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING?
After completing Columbia University’s Digital Marketing Bootcamp, I joined the Aspen Institute’s Aspen Young Leaders Fellowship (AYLF) as a Social Media Specialist, where I discovered my passion for digital storytelling through social media. I loved the challenge of crafting content that was not only engaging but also strategic—turning ideas into visuals, videos, and copy that resonated with audiences using platforms such as Canva.
Seeing the real-time impact of social media at AYLF, from showcasing student growth to building an engaged community, reinforced my belief in its power. As the daughter of small business owners, I understand the struggles of artists and entrepreneurs trying to grow without a strong social media presence. That’s where I step in—to bridge that gap and help brands connect, grow, and thrive online.
FOUNDING THE BOJO CONTENT AGENT
In August 2024, I took a bold step towards realizing my dream by founding Bojo Content Agency. This decision allowed me to combine my passion for creativity with my desire to help artists, venues, and small businesses thrive in the digital space. Through Bojo, I offer a range of services, including social media management, branding, content creation, and video editing, with a focus on building strong, authentic online presences.
Shortly after launching the agency, I had the opportunity to collaborate with DJ Vo and his record label, Votion Records (formerly The Common Grounds). Working with an emerging DJ and new record label, I quickly honed my skills in tools like DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator to produce high-quality content tailored to their unique needs.
Each day presents a new, exciting challenge—curating content that not only speaks to the brand’s voice but also resonates with diverse audiences. As I continue to expand my work, I’ve partnered with a wide range of clients, including DJs, a radio station, a health and wellness coach, and even a local dry cleaner. With each new project, I’m constantly evolving and excited about the potential ahead.
This is just the beginning.
